About our online lessons

Is there anything I need when taking lessons?
To take lessons, you will need Skype, which is free call service. You can install and create a Skype account for free.
Please visit the official Skype site at http://www.skype.com/intl/en/home
You will also need a microphone and a camera. (You do not need to buy these if your computer has a built-in camera.)
A microphone and a camera cost about 1,000 to 3,000 yen each. Please purchase these at an electronics store.
What do I need to take care of when taking cooking lessons?
During cooking lessons, the instructor’s web camera will be set to their point of view, so you will be able to see the cooking process in detail. However, students can use regular camera settings.
Please note in advance that you will need to prepare the ingredients used in a cooking lesson (foodstuffs, spices, cooking utensils) at your own expense before the lesson starts.
However, it is also possible to take a cooking lesson by just watching the lesson delivered by the instructor and ask questions without actually cooking yourself. In such cases, please indicate so in the lesson request field when making a reservation.
What do I need to be aware of when taking kitsuke (dressing) lessons?
A condition of taking a kitsuke (dressing) lesson is that you actually own a kimono. You will not be able to only watch a lesson.
Do you charge to register?
Member registration is free of charge.
Payment only occurs at the time of purchasing lesson tickets.
