About our online lessons

Is there anything I need when taking lessons?
To take lessons, you will need Skype, which is free call service. You can install and create a Skype account for free.
Please visit the official Skype site at http://www.skype.com/intl/en/home
You will also need a microphone and a camera. (You do not need to buy these if your computer has a built-in camera.)
A microphone and a camera cost about 1,000 to 3,000 yen each. Please purchase these at an electronics store.
Do you charge to register?
Member registration is free of charge.
Payment only occurs at the time of purchasing lesson tickets.

About lesson tickets

How can I pay for my purchase of lesson tickets?
You can pay by PayPal or credit card: Visa, MasterCard, JCB or American Express.
Do lesson tickets have an expiration date?
You can buy sets of 3, 10, 15, 30 and 60 lesson tickets.
Sets of 3, 10 and 15 lesson tickets are valid for 3 months, and sets of 30 lesson tickets are valid for 6 months, and sets of 60 lesson tickets are valid for 12 months.
Can language lesson tickets be used for culture lessons as well?
Tickets for language lessons are interchangeable with tickets for regular culture lessons.
Please feel free to take both language and culture classes with your tickets.
However, tickets for language lessons are not interchangeable for Premium culture lessons.

About lessons

When do you start accepting lesson reservations?
Lesson reservations are possible 3 weeks prior to the lesson.
What is the deadline for reservations?
Lessons reservations are accepted up until 1 hour before the lesson starting time.
Can I cancel my lesson?
Cancellations of lessons are possible up to 12 hour prior to the lesson starting time.
By not performing certain cancellation procedures before 12 hour period,
please note that the ticket for the lesson cannot be refunded.
How can I cancel my lesson?
First, find a list of reserved lessons on your Member’s Page. Then click on “Cancel” button on the right side for cancellation.
(Cancellation is accepted up to 12 hour prior to the lesson starting time)

Troubleshooting

I forgot my login password.
We can resend your password. (Password resend)
I haven’t received any call from the instructor even though the start time of the lesson has passed.

About membership cancelation

What should I do to cancel my membership?
A. If you wish to cancel your membership, please contact our office (info@japanese-live.com).
A. We will delete all the registered information.
Please note that we cannot refund or buyback for any lesson tickets left.
